the weather today has been really great! its sunny yet the wind is cool and refreshing. :)
as planned, i went to the salon and had my haircut. i browsed a few magazines to choose
some style. after a few minutes, i finally found the style that i wanted.

its pretty basic. i just want some soft layers in the front. i made it clear to the stylist that i still want it long. so he asked me as to how much hair he should cut and i told him that i only need a trim and half an inch is enough.

i was reading a magazine when he started cutting my hair. i gave him instructions so i thought everything is fine. but after i finish an article from the magazine. i looked on the floor and so strands of my hair, long ones! it looks like he cut about 3 inches of it! wtf!? i gave him clear intructions!

so i just sit there, trying to burn him with my stare! i wanna punch him hard on the face!
but i have to contain myself, there are too many people getting their haircut and i dont wanna make a scene. and besides, he cut it already! i have no choice but to wait for it to end..and hope that it looks good after.

so i tried to focus my anger on something else. i grab a few more magazine on the table and secretly tear pages of it! ha! thats what you get when you mess with me. they have no idea because im doing it under this cloth that they put over you?! i think you guys no what i mean. :P

well anyway, to cut the story short. he finished his job and im pretty happy about the end result.
well good thing he does! otherwise, il refuse to pay and i will bitch about my hair...hehe.

Back to Black

Today, i was supposed to go to the mall and eat lunch,
do some shopping and bring my dog with me since its a pet-friendly place.
but my perfect little plan for my weekend didn't happen because of the bad weather.

i decided to make some new plans just to make the most out of my day.
last week, i bought some hair dye because im planning to change my hair color.
it is light brown as of the moment and im getting tired of my look
so why not change it now?!

I had a little help from our house keeper.she did a really good job!
my hair is so black and shiny! im lovin' my new look


hopefully, the weather will be better tomorrow so i can go to the hair salon and get a new hairstyle as well.

its been weeks since my dearest friend left.
she went back to the united states, probably staying there for good.
i still remember the look on her face as she walks close to me and hugged me for the very last time.
then she whispered: "no goodbyes karen, well see each other soon". i closed my eyes tightly, trying hard not to shed a tear but as soon as she and her family walks into the airport door. my tears run into my face and i feel so warm all over. i cant contain my emotions anymore so i went back to the car and let it all out. its just so sad....

its been a really tough month for me. a lot of not-so-good things happened
and i feel like i havent been myself lately. i get so irritated over the littlest things and end up crying about it. i just miss you sooo much sasha!!!! :"(

i <3 Alice burdeu

a few weeks ago, i began watching Australia's Next Top Model on youtube and realize how much America's next top model suck! it is way more entertaining, the challenges are pretty cool, they follow the girls in the top model house, so they see how the girls behave, they know who the bitch and the underdogs and take it into consideration when they are judging. unlike, ANTM well perhaps they do follow the girls behind the scene but still, the bitches remained bitches and no one cares! i mean top models should have the looks of course, but personality and attitude counts as well. another thing, i think AusNTM just found a diamond in the rough... there are girls in in both shows who have been signed in great agencies such as elite,ford, etc... but they havent done anything big in the fashion industry until today.... but this girl named "alice burdeu" who won Australia's next top model cycle 3 is now successful..i mean, shes really really BIG now!

Alice Burdeu landed in 2 vogue magazines already which is awesome! Burdeu has also recently had a string of editorials and advertorials coming out over the past month. This has included a three page advertorial for Mondial Jewellers in Australia and a cover of Harper's Bazaar supplement. She has also appeared on the Malaysian edition of Her World Magazine. Not to be outdone, Burdeu got her first US magazine cover from Verse Magazine, appearing in the January 2008 issue.

she was in variety of runway shows in New York Fashion Week Fall 2008, which included Catherine Holstein, ThreeasFour, Rachel Comey, Charlotte Ronson, Lyell, Proenza Schouler, Koi Swannagate, Tory Burch, Shipley & Halmos, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, Rad Hourani, and Willow.
she was successful at London Fashion Week,
booking shows such as Luella, Giles Deacon and Christopher Kane.
Milan shows included Moschino Cheap&Chic, Pollini, Daks, D&G, 6267, Jil Sander and Dolce & Gabbana.
She have done several shows in Paris for her first season (Fall/Winter 2008),
including Anne Valerie Hash, Cline, Maison Martin Margiela, Louis Vuitton, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Sofia Kokosalaki, Rue de Mail, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen and opening Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.

Alice appeared in the Fall/Winter 2008/2009 ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana diffusion line,
